<p><span class="full-image-float-right ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 200px;" src="http://www.goodpsych.com/storage/k76032ta102737_3.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1313090812227" alt="" /></span></span>Dr. Lisa Kristine Samuel is pursuing her passion about natural and beneficial psychological approaches that apply&nbsp;for all of us by researching current topics and trends in behavioral medicine.&nbsp; She has received her Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in biopsychosocial studies and health.&nbsp;&nbsp;She completed her coursework with a 4.0 GPA and has had her work exploring the relationships between eating, health behaviors, and cognitive style published and cited in multiple academic venues.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Additionally she is a Certified Health Coach, having received training from the largest nutrition school in the world.&nbsp; In this program she studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and cutting-edge coaching methods including holistic nutrition and the importance of preventive care.</p>

<p><span style="color: #110f0f;" lang="EN">She has completed multiple degrees including an Associated Degree in Medical Science (AS), a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (BA), and a Master&rsquo;s Degree in Business Administration (MBA). She not only has a well-rounded and diversified education, but she also has had experience as a Desert Storm Navy Veteran, a surgical assistant, a research manager, and a director of operations for a consulting firm.&nbsp;She has been a member in good standing in the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS) since 2006.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #110f0f;" lang="EN">Lisa is a wife and a mother to two boys and&nbsp;works&nbsp;hard volunteering her time to help her local community, homeless shelters and church.&nbsp; Her interests include mastering ethnic cooking cuisines, sports, snorkeling, and growing her garden in Lafayette, CO.</span></p>
